Le-may successfully completed her Manitou operator license

Le-May Minnaar, Workshop Administrator at Manitou SA, successfully completed her operator license for the Manitou counterbalanced lift truck on 18th December and the Telescopic boom handler on the 20th December 2019 after two weeks of training for both at the same time. LeMay has worked for Manitou for three years, coming onboard as Administrator and Outsourced Service Consultant and later moving to Workshop Administrative Clerk. She embarked on the operator license training due to an interest she has always had to learn to operate Manitou machines. “I feel it is important for me to know how the machines work and what they can do as I work with the paperwork for them every day,” says Le-May. Le-May is hoping to study further so that she can move into machine Quality Assurance in the future. In the meantime, she is definitely planning on completing more training on machines, such as the TLB backhoe loader and skid steer loaders. We wish Le-May all the best and look forward to watching her drive the machines in the Manitou yard!
